Greetings from The Berry Queens!

 As we twirl our tiaras into 2026 and Berry Queens enters its 18th year, we find ourselves looking back through all the fabulous eras of Berry Queens and feeling incredibly grateful for the blessings that have poured into our Queendom through the generosity and support of our community. We are reminded that none of this happens because of one queen, one board, or even one organization. It happens because an entire community believes in lifting others up. Every donation, sponsorship, ticket purchase, volunteer hour, and word of encouragement has helped turn dreams into reality.  From our early years partnering with Iberia Habitat for Humanity and helping build homes for local families, to our current era of supporting teachers, students, and families throughout Iberia Parish, each chapter has been unique.  While our projects have evolved over the years, our mission has remained the same: to spread kindness, sprinkle a little sparkle wherever we go, and leave our community better than we found it.  Because of our amazing members, sponsors, volunteers, donors, and cheerleaders, we have been able to accomplish  far more than we ever imagined. We have helped provide homes, transformed classrooms into inspiring learning spaces, fulfilled teacher wish lists, served meals to neighbors in need, and answered countless calls for help along the way.  Our educational initiatives continue to grow and flourish. We are proud to renovate classrooms that inspire both   teachers and students, and we now award monthly $500 grants to Iberia Parish educators to help offset the many out-of-pocket expenses they incur while creating meaningful learning experiences for their students. We know that  when teachers have the resources they need, entire classrooms benefit. We are also honored to support the Educators  Rising program in Iberia Parish Schools, helping encourage and develop the next generation of teachers who will one  day shape the future of our community.  Another source of great pride is the Doyle Copell Entrepreneurial Scholarship, awarded annually to a graduating senior in Iberia Parish who dreams of starting a business of their own. Through this scholarship, we celebrate innovation, determination, and the entrepreneurial spirit while investing in the future leaders of our parish.  Of course, no Berry Queen year would be complete without a little glamour! Our Beauties 'n Beauxs Prom and Homecoming Attire Giveaway continues to help students attend these milestone events with confidence and dignity.  Thanks to your support, we have been able to provide formal attire, accessories, bouquets, and boutonnieres to students who otherwise might have gone without.  The Berry Queens have been blessed beyond measure by the kindness of Iberia Parish and the surrounding communities. Your support has allowed us to grow, adapt, and continue finding new ways to serve. As we enter our  next era, we remain committed to supporting educators, students, entrepreneurs, families, and anyone else who could  use a helping hand and a little royal encouragement.  We invite you to continue this journey with us. Together, we can keep making magic happen, one classroom, one  scholarship, one student, one family, and one act of kindness at a time.  From the bottom of our glitter-covered hearts, thank you for believing in our mission. Because of you, our cup runneth  over, and we look forward to sharing those blessings with others for many years to come.
