I, Queen Hot Mess Express (alias Hope Cleveland) have been married to my Sweet Cheeks for over 13 years! I have 3 amazing adult children, Courtney, Ty and Taylor. Since we all have very busy lives, I decided to begin “Sunday Fun Day”. We all meet at my house, under one roof again; just so I can see their smiling faces…even if only once a week! “Sunday Fun Day” makes Sunday my favorite day of the week. 

I began working in New Iberia 4 years ago and fell head-over-heels in love with the town and its people! With my youngest soon graduating and a husband who works offshore, I knew I had to find something to do to keep me busy. I didn’t want to become the couch lady.

I attended a White Linen Event in New Iberia where I met some Berry Queen Ladies! I asked a ton of questions and on my way home I knew I had found what I was searching for…. An awesome way to give back to the community.

I joined the Berry Queens in 2018, just in time for our biggest event, The Berry Queen Ball! I promised myself I was going to do everything the Berry Queens asked of me and more! I never imagined I would be on stage dancing, but it was so much fun. 

From not wanting to be the Couch Lady with nothing to do, I joined royalty and became Queen Hot Mess Express. I volunteer at the Gumbo Cook Off, The Sugar Cane Festival, Iberia In The Know, St. Francis Diner, Best of the Teche,  Princess & Pearls and so much more. I’m also a member of the Junior Auxiliary of Abbeville and hold a seat on their executive board as Public Relations Chairman. I also volunteer at the Harvest Fest, Project Backpack, Diamond Fever, Boy’s and Girl’s Club and more! No sitting on the couch for this Queen Hot Mess Express!
