Queen Hotstuff

---

As a member of the New Iberia Berry Queens and Her Royal Highness 2010, I literally live up to my Queen name as often I can be found cooking up something spicy for my family or working for the company that makes my absolute favorite hot sauce.

I am deeply rooted in my Catholic faith as it drives me, inspires me, and keeps my head above water in challenging times.  My handsome husband, Carl, and my two beautiful girls, Jena and Katie, are my world and I love and cherish spending all the time I can with them as well as with family and friends.

Even though my faith, family, and work life keep me busy, I also love my community and make sure to find time to volunteer and give back.  Working alongside fellow Berry Queens for the last twelve years, it has been an honor to help find new ways to raise funds for Iberia Habitat for Humanity, the Christian nonprofit organization that is dedicated to partnering with families and providing them with a home of their own to live and grow into all that God intends for them to be.

This year I am humbled to have been nominated as a Pay It Forward Queen Nominee, honoring the memory of our cherished Queen, Queen Debit aka Debi Harry, who embodied the Berry Queen informal philosophy of “all for Iberia Habitat for Humanity and our community”.

With three other nominated Queens, I will raise additional funds for Iberia Habitat for Humanity in a grand Pay It Forward fashion and the one Queen who raises the most funds will be crowned the 2019 Pay It Forward Queen at our annual Berry Queens Ball & Pageant on Saturday, September 14th, at Cypress Bayou Casino.

Please consider making a donation in my name, Queen Hotstuff, to help us achieve our 2019 fundraising goal.  Each dollar donated in my name will count as one point towards crowning me the 2019 Pay It Forward Queen but most importantly will give Iberia Habitat for Humanity the opportunity to complete more projects for the good of our community and humanity.

FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY SPICY HEART, I THANK YOU!!!
