Queen Serving Heart

Angie Besson Santiny

Hello, my name is Angie Besson Santiny AKA Queen Serving Heart. I am 45 years old; reside in Youngsville. In 2015, I became an "honorary" Berry Queen; for the next 2 years I participated with these SPARKLING, WIGGED women every chance I could. I became a Queen in Waiting in 2018 and I have never looked back.

I am a 1991 graduate of Grand Isle High School. I have earned two Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette majoring in Child and Family Studies and Criminal Justice. My work history has ranged from office administrator, social services, non-profit organizations, probation and parole, criminal justice administration and sales.

Over the last 24 years, I have been privileged to work with many non-profits, serving on Boards of Directors and volunteering to raise much needed funds. I am an active member of Our Savior's Church, Celebrate Recovery, Strugglin Cooking Team and Roberta Boudreaux's Cooking Team.

I am honored to be able to SERVE the community of Iberia Parish as a Berry Queen as well as all my other organizations. I love spreading God's word and blessings to others. Serving is my heart and who I am.
